Freezing Food:

The Mac-n-Cheese recipe in our archives freezes nicely. I've prepared it

" as written " but don't bake. . .freeze. . .and then bake when ready to

serve. I've done the same with baked beans. . . .using cooked pintos and

flavorings/sweetenings, freezing them until needed, and then taking out and

baking. I don't thaw them. . .but put them directly in a warming (not too

hot) oven straight from the freezer. I also keep pinto beans, lentils, soy

beans, and other cooked beans in the freezer in zip-lock bags (usually

premeasured in 1 cup portions) and then take them out and use as needed in

recipes.

I'd like to second Amy's suggestion to not by shy about sharing recipes!

The more the better!!!!! :)
