Easy Bean and Pasta Dish

 

1 T. water (oil if you prefer)

8 cloves garlic, pressed or minced

1/4 tsp. FRESHLY ground black pepper

6 plum tomatoes, peeled and diced,

or 1 16 oz. can tomatoes, chopped

2 16 oz. cans garbanzo beans

1/2 pound elbow macaroni, (gluten-free if necessary)

cooked according to package instructions

 

In a large skillet heat water (oil) and garlic over

medium heat until garlic sizzles. Add pepper and tomatoes

and cook until tomatoes can be mashed. Add one can of the

beans, undrained. Drain the other can and add the drained

beans. Mix well and bring to a boil. Add the cooked macaroni

and mix well.
