Guest guest Posted June 19, 2001 Report Share Posted June 19, 2001 Falafels Blend until smooth: 4 cups chickpeas (garbanzos) 3 cloves garlic 1 cup water Pour into mixing bowl and combine with: 1 lb. tofu 1 tsp. salt 1 medium onion, chopped fine 1/3 cup soy sauce or Bragg's Amino Acids 6 cups whole grain bread crumbs (gluten-free if necessary) Mix until moist, roll into balls and fry in 1/2 inch oil until golden brown around edges (or mold into balls and flatten on cookie sheet and bake until toasty).
