*Strawberry season is upon us! Here's a gel that would cover a

strawberry torte or shortcake nicely.

 

3 Tbsp. Emes Plain Kosher Gelatin (vegan) or 2 Tbsp. powdered agar or

4 Tbspl flaked agar or 2 sticks agar

 

4 cups any fruit juice

2 cups chopped fruit of your choice

 

Stir gelatin into 1 cup of juice. Bring to a boil. Remove from

stove and pour in 3 cups of juice. Add chopped fruit of your

choice. Pour into a mold or bowl and chill, covered, 5 - 8 hours.

Gelatin will become firm in your refrigerator.
