Guest guest Posted May 2, 2001 Report Share Posted May 2, 2001 Walnut Loaf Source: Natural Lifestyle and Your Health 3 cups brown or wild rice, cooked 1 onion, chopped fine 2 stalks celery, chopped fine 2 slices whole grain (or gluten-free) bread or 1/2 cup cracker crumbs (gf if necessary) 1 cup cashews or walnuts 1/2 cup water 2 tsp. parsley, chopped 3 Tbsp. Bragg's Aminos 1 tsp. salt (omit if rice is salted) 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Make bread into crumbs using blender or chopper. Pour into large bowl. Mill cashews fine in blender; add water and blend well. Pour cashew milk into bowl with crumbs and rice. Mix well. Put remaining ingredients into the mixture, combining well. Press into unprepared cake pan, 8 " x 8 " . Bake at 350 ° for 45 minutes.
