Guest guest Posted April 24, 2001 Report Share Posted April 24, 2001 Berry Sorbet Source: The McDougall Health Supporting Cookbook, volume 2 1 cup water 1/2 cup honey 4 cups frozen strawberries or raspberries 2 Tbsp. lemon juice In a small saucepan, combine the water and honey. Bring to a boil. Stir. Remove from heat. Cool. In a blender or food processor, blend berries until smooth. Add lemon juice and water-honey mixture. Process briefly. Pour into bowl. Cover and freeze until slushy. Beat with electric mixer until smooth again. Return to bowl and freeze until firm. Let stand at room temperature 5 - 10 minutes before serving.
