" Sprouts are full of vitamins and minerals in their purest form, which are easily digested with the help[ of the any enzymes they contain. They are actually germinated seeds, legumes and grains that, in the sprouting process, become powerful enzyme-makers, converting carbohydrates into simple sugars, complex proteins into amino acids and fats into fatty acids. These conversions make the assimilation and absorption of their valuable nutrients easier. For example, the nutrient content of grains, seeds and legumes can increase 10%-20% when they are sprouted. Many sprouted grains and legumes also contain the essential amino acids. Sprouts are a wonderful way to insure that you are getting the nutrition your body needs.
