Guest guest Posted March 21, 2001 Report Share Posted March 21, 2001 Cooked Green Salad Source: Veggie Lovers 1 onion, sliced 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil 2 lbs. kale, chopped 1 lb. kohlrabi, chopped 1 lb. leeks, chopped 2 Tbsp. tamari 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. basil 1 tsp. parsley 1/4 cup vegan margarine (or olive oil) Slightly sauté onion in oil in saucepan. Add 1 cup water and greens. Cook over low heat until tender. Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer for 5 more minutes.
