Guest guest Posted March 21, 2001 Report Share Posted March 21, 2001 Carob Fudge Source: Sweet Talk In a saucepan or double boiler combine: 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup Carob (powder) Bring to a boil; reduce heat; cook, while stirring approximately 5 minutes, or until water is absorbed and you have a thick paste consistency. Remove from heat and add: 1 cup peanut butter (chunky style) 1 cup date butter Mix and cream together. Add: 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut 1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped Mix well. press firmly into lightly oiled foil-lined 8 inch square pan. Let stand in refrigerator at least 8 hours.
