Guest guest Posted March 8, 2001 Report Share Posted March 8, 2001 Baked Split Peas Source: Rx Recipes 3 cups split peas (cooked) 2 cups cooked brown rice 2 cups canned tomatoes 1/2 cup onion, chopped fine 1 tsp. vegetable oil 3/4 cup bread crumbs(Instead: soak gluten free cornflakes in margrine) 1 tsp. salt Oil baking dish and make layers of the peas, rice, tomatoes and onion. Sprinkle with salt. Cover with oiled bread crumbs and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with white sauce or brown gravy.
