Guest guest Posted January 31, 2001 Report Share Posted January 31, 2001 French Toast source: The new mcdouguall cookbook Serve these with maplw syrup, applesauce, chunky apple syrup or fruit 1/2 pound tofu 1 1 /4 cups water 1 tsp. honey 1/4 tsp. vanilla pinch of turmeric (for color) 8 slices of bread place the tofu , water, honey, vanilla, tumeric in a blender or food processor and process until smooth. Transfer to a large bowl. Dip slice of bread into the mixture to coat both sides well.
