Guest guest Posted January 23, 2001 Report Share Posted January 23, 2001 walnut rice Source: quick and natural rice dishes 3/4 cups shelled walnuts 2 cups long grain brown rice 1/2 tsp. sea salt 4 cups wter 1/3 cup minced parsley preheat oven to 350 f and roast walnuts on a baking sheet for 15-20 min or just until golden and gragrant. Rinse rice, drain and combine all infredients except parsley in a pot. Cover and bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 45 mins. or until the rice is tender. ( if the top of the rice looks dry, mix it under and cook over very low heat for 5-10 mins more.) remove from heat and fluff gently whil mixing in the parsley Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
