Guest guest Posted January 16, 2001 Report Share Posted January 16, 2001 Granola Bars by ME Dry ing. 4 1/2 cups oats 1 cup flour ( rice flour works) 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup nut of your choice 1 1/2 tsp gound cinnamon 1 tsp. baking soda wet ing. 6 tablespoon marigine or sub or your choice 1/3 cup packed brown sugar or sweetner of your choice 1/2 cup honey or sweet binder of your choice 1 tsp. vannilla Preheat oven to 351 degrees f. line a 9 inch square pan with foil, extending the foil over the sides grease the foil with oil heat the wet ing. until all melted together and begins to boil Pour this mixture over the dry ingred. and mix until well coated. Transfer to the prepared pan and press evenly with a spatula Bake about 30 mins or until the top is golden brown Cool on rack, using foil, lift out of the pan and place on cutting board. Cut into 18 bars. This is a fun recipe, this are chewy but by playing around with it the could be harder. also try adding differnet kinds of dryed fruit to it.
