Guest guest Posted January 14, 2001 Report Share Posted January 14, 2001 The Mighty Mac 1 cup soaked garbanzo beans1 1/2 cups water4 cups quinoa, cooked 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped1 medium onion, minced1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon sage2 tablespoons wheat free tamari Blend the first two ingredients. Remove to a bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix with a spoon. Drop from 1/3 cup measure to form patties on baking sheet sprayed with non-stick baking spray. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes. Serve in wheat-free burger buns with vegan mayonnaise, leaf lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and onions.
