4) How long have you been a vegetarian/vegan? My husband (Daniel)

and I are newly converted...going on two weeks.

 

5) What is your favourite (vegetarian) food or meal? Daniel is

really good with tofu and a wok! And I love bean salads/chili.

 

6) How did you find this group? I was just searching for

a vegetarian group.

 

7) Is there anything specific you want to get out of the group?

Recipes and encouragement.

 

8) Tell us a few of your favourite things. I enjoy photography and

our two amazing pound pups. Daniel is a musician.

Welcome, Ainsley! I'm glad you found us. And what a great part of the world you

live in -

is Austin okay for vegetarian restaurants these days? Or is it all so new to you

- the

vegetarianism, I mean - that you haven't checked it out yet. All those TexMex

restaurants should be a boon!

 

Congratulations on that decision to become vegetarian, by the way - it's a big

one and it's

a happy one. With both of you doing it, there should be no problems. You'll both

eat better

than you ever have before and probably feel healthier too - and of course you'll

be helping

the animals and the environment.
