Guest guest
Hi Jane, welcome to the group! I see you are in the process of converting to vegetarianism - great decision. It's really the best food in the world! I'll be interested in hearing of your experiments with your new wood-fored oven. I have to manage with the old-fashioned LOL electric kind, but I still manage to bake my own bread. Easy for me to say, since there are only the two of us here now and that means we don't eat a lot of it! You say you have dogs - GSDs - and breed them as well as compete with them in various sports. Another dog lover!!! My dh and I have a wonderful pair of beagles - totally townhounds, though, with no apologies for that. Nice to meet someone else into dogs!! I look forward to chatting to you on the list, Best, Pat (Co-Owner with Piers)
Guest guest
I'm also a Beagle person. If you look at my website www.walltopkennels.com , my first competition dogs were beagles. They got their AKC Companion Dog titles in 1985 and '86. I have 1 beagle now and am in the process of getting another. I love the GSDS and competing with them but the fun of competing with a beagle is that most people do not take them seriously and they have always done very well for me. Merry, who got her CD in 1985, was also the #2 beagle in obedience that year! I have recommited to the slimming part of my diet conversion since I reinjured a knee last Monday and the best way to prevent injuries is to lose the 40# I have gained and not stinting on my exercise schedule.
