Apart from lovely things for skinny husbands, does anyone have uses for apples (apart from simply munching, of course) which are good for those of us who aren't so lucky?? I look at a piece of pie and I gain weight - totally unfair, but there it is! Any good ideas for apples in salads (what's your favourite, or do you just throw them in where they 'fit'?), in other savoury dishes, etc??? I often add them to soups that have yellow veg such as sweet potato, squash, etc. . . . pat
Guest guest
One of my favorite salads involving apples is: kale, diced apples, plain yogurt, and soy nuts (or walnuts, etc.). -Erin , " griselda2b " <patrikmay> wrote: > > Apart from lovely things for skinny husbands, does anyone have uses for apples (apart > from simply munching, of course) which are good for those of us who aren't so lucky?? Funny, ya know, cuz I never eat kale uncooked for some reason - habit, I guess. Sounds as if it would be a blast with apples and yoghurt and of course the nuts - we tend to throw walnuts into everything we can ;=) Shall try this combo - thanks! Best love, Pat
