Guest guest
Hey Stef, I actually like it when people challenge me. If they are doing it just for a fight I can at least provide a logical rebuttle and maybe get a few other people thinking. Otherwise, I may actually plant (no pun intended) some new thoughts into my challenger's mind. A couple of things I like to do in those situations... 1.) You can migrate from the " animal rights " justification to either a health justification or food availability (eating lower on the food chain) discussion. 2.) The biological composition of any plant is far different from animals. True plants grow, but I've never found a plant with a true beating heart, a brain, etc. 3.) Just to throw this one in because I used it yesterday...somebody commented about soymilk and that it is processed and unnatural...to which my response was " I wonder who looked at the udder of a cow and said 'boy does that look yummy' " . --- wrote: > Message: 3 > Mon, 26 Sep 2005 13:46:57 -0000 > " steffdav46 " <steffdav46 > Re: Fielding Questions/ Yet again > > Earlier this month we were talking about comments > of non- > vegetarians and I just had a real (what I consider) > stupid one happen > this week so I thought that I would share.
