Just thinking about all this . . .

Now me, I find it ironic that there is all this talk of *oils* on a low-fat

list. Not

that we don't all agree that we need our omega 3, but hey, it's like talking

about sugar on a diabetic list. Appropriate in some contexts of course, but

still

a bit obsessive-sounding if it goes on a bit. Anyway, it made me smile.

As for 'nitpicking' over fish and fish oils, seemingly or not, those are

fighting

words LOL Some of us feel rather strongly about what we, as vegetarians,

should and shouldn't consume. True, there has been discussion of the best

tack to take for possible Conversion of the Carnivores (that has a nice ring to

it, yes?), but that's getting a tad off topic for this list. Besides, isn't it

easier to

just say we're vegetarians and don't eat animals or that we're vegans and

don't use animal products either? If the carnivores want to 'nitpick' (awful

word, when you think about it - very un-vegan) and ask what about this or

what about that, then they're not really listening anyway. True.

As for those on this list who may not yet be vegetarian, they can take us as we

are on our vegetarian list. I think they'll survive just fine!

So now, back to the list and what it's about? Maybe some ideas for slimming?

A recipe or two? A word or two about new products we may have found?

Whatever. Just a thought.

Best love,

Pat
