Guest guest
> Doing good on my weight loss... seeing pounds and inches lost. I > have a shape!! kinda an hour glass, a little heavy on the bottom, Lovely salad (I skip oil on such things and whick up a few herbs and spices in lemon juice, but hey!!! LOL) - I'm really getting into different salads this year. But what I wanted to say was congratulations on the weight loss - you must be thrilled. Isn't it nice to see a waistline again! Good for you - you've worked so hard at this and it's nice when efforts are rewarded. And of course you'll be feeling better too - am I right? > but an hour glass, nonetheless!! lol And a glass half full to boot! LOL (couldn't resist - didn't try very hard) Hugs and love, Pat
Guest guest
Thank you Pat... the support and encouragement of this group and my dearest friend in the world helped me to be able to do it.. still have a long way to go, but feeling better about it, enjoying curves and the girls there and finally seeing some results... I'm still asking not to know the total weight, just pounds lost, as well as inches.. it's too depressing to know how far you still have to go, somehow when you know that, the losses don't seem as big or meaningful.. this way, every inch, every pound means so much more... Thanks again, to all of you here, for your support. Just out of curiousity...... If there were an oil you would use on this salad, of all those available, what would you choose? I suggested simply draining the salad before serving it.. reducing the amount of oil... Peace and Hugs, Robin
Guest guest
Robin, the 3 Bean Salad had a lot of sugar, not just oil. That is why the recipe was archived to the OT section, rather that under Salads. As far as which oil to use, I think it would be best to use olive or canola oil. I'm sure the recipe is delicious, just not a weight loss recipe. from Maida Citizens for Pets in Condos, http://www.petsincondos.org South Florida Vegetarian Events, http://www.soflavegevents.net
