Must be something in the genes of vegetarians - I've never traced mine back

further than my great-grandfather who kept a pub (his daughter, my

grandmother, won a prize for an essay for a temperance society and didn't

dare show it at home!).

LOL It's usually the other way around, yes. 'Tracing' can be fun - sort of like

filling in all the squares of a crossword puzzle - as long as one doesn't take

it

too seriously. Everyone has ancestors, after all, except some haven't been

recorded - and some wish they'd never been discovered!
