Guest guest
Hi Pat, Yes, I have traced my ancestry back to a drunken sailor about 5,300 (plus or minus) years ago. I believe we all came from one of his three sons. Do you know whom I am speaking of? Abel is a colourful character and a wonderful person to have as one's ancestor, but he isn't mine - a 'cousin' yes, whom I am learning to 'know' more and more as the weeks and months go by. I am descended not from Abel (via his grandfather Isaac) but from Isaac (1725?)'s brother Joseph 1727 and Martha Oakes. Then Joseph had a son Joseph 1762 who married Frances (Fanny) Hassall. Then came their son Samuel (1805 or 06) and Letitia Snelson (?), and then *their* son, another Samuel b. 1851 and his wife Annie Thomasson. My grandfather Harry (m. Edith Keaton) was their son and then my father Harry, an only child, then me ;=) Anyone else? If not from my Joseph 1725 then perhaps another brother or sister? Or perhaps a Sant woman earlier or later in the tree? I'd love to compare notes - Best, Pat Sant
