Guest guest
<Also, sprouted carbohydrates might help - grain that have been sprouted until just a little tip appears off the grain. Also, what about beans?> Do you or anyone have some good recipes for sprouted grains and/or beans? How long do you know to sprout beans? Does anyone have good raw food recipes for sprouted grains/beans? I have read that if you don't heat above 110 than the enzymes for good digestion are maintained. Does anyone have good raw food recipes for sprouted grains/beans? Louise, I am an incorrigible saver of recipes and I have lots of recipes, but not any I have tried myself. (My intention is always to get into improved eating habits :-(. If you want, since this list is not supposed to be used for anything but " tried and true " recipes, e-mail me privately and I will share some of the recipes I have on file using sprouted whatever. Some of the recipes I have on file are cooked and some raw. In the meantime, I would check out raw vegan web sites and e-newsletters. I can suggest some of those too. Recipes for growing sprouts vary by what kind of bean or grain you are sprouting. I also have some instructions on file. What I would suggest is to go to a good health food or whole food store, or even a plant nursery and buy seeds for sprouting. You will find some seed mixtures, with instructions, in these kinds of places. The authority on sprouting methods is Ann Wigmore. You should be able to find her books at health food stores or online.
