Guest guest Posted April 25, 2005 Report Share Posted April 25, 2005 * Exported from MasterCook * Spinach curry with Cheese (Palak paneer - revised) Low Fat Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 lb cottage cheese, lowfat 2 lb spinach -- *(see tip for quick recipe) 3 tablespoon onion -- (chopped) 2 tablespoon tomato -- (chopped) 2 tablespoon cream 2 teaspoon garam masala powder -- (can omit) 2 teaspoon curry powder 2 tablespoon olive oil Salt to taste Heat oil. Sauté onion until light golden brown. Add spinach and cook until it turns into a paste. Add cream, spices and tomatoes. Cook for few minutes. Add cottage cheese to spinach. Cook for about 10 minutes in medium heat.
