Guest guest
I have just been glancing through the last few days' worth of emails, and they're great as always. But I was thinking (it happens, it happens) and at the risk of incurring everyone's wrath I am going to make a radical suggestion. Let's not talk about what our unhealthy temptations are for a little while - just for a little while - whether it's sweet stuff or junk food or whatever - but talk about what we are doing in a positive way to be good little vegetarians *and* good healthy eaters who are aiming for or aiming to keep a slim silhouette. Wanna try? That's three things here: healthy eating, slimming recipes, vegetarianism. Let's try talking about good healthy whole grains, lentils, beans, fresh fruits and vegetables and 'good' fat options, etc. Let's not, unless asked (as I asked recently over a dessert recipe), offer Off Topic recipes - OT recipes being those which are *not* low fat and/or which have in them too many calories or too much rich food (whatever you want to call it) for slimming/weight-loss purposes. And of course we won't talk about temptations to eat animal flesh or, for vegans, to use animal products - because that tempts or distresses others. (That goes without saying, but I add it in here in the interests of completeness.) Support - the right kind - can make all the difference. Can we give it a shot? <standing back to avoid wild shots> Pat ;=)
