Guest guest
Pat, Didn't mean to be a commercial. I don't to the menu mailer, but every couple of months Leanne sends out a week of menus etc. for free to members of FLYLADY. That's where my experience comes from. They didn't seem high calorie to me, but I am used to having to cut added fat out and sub something else in - evaporated milk for cream, etc. Linda
Guest guest
Well I appreciated it. Guest guest
> Didn't mean to be a commercial. 'sOK ;=) I just didn't see the relevance . . . >I don't to the menu mailer, but > every couple of months Leanne sends out a week of menus etc. for free to > members of FLYLADY. OK - so we can join flylady for free? OK That's good. I didn't understand ;=) Excellent. I'll check it out a little later. Can always use a little help, can't we? >They didn't seem high calorie to me I wasn't making a judgment on individual recipes, honest. Hadn't seen them because it was clear you had to to the recipe list (and you've now explained). Just noted that they were *vegetarian* but vegetarian doesn't necessarily mean slimming recipes - in fact, although many non-vegetarians seem to think otherwise (a constant problem), there are hugely calorific veggie dishes just as there are non-veggie, right? LOL Here we're promoting slimming recipes. >but I am used to having to cut added fat out and sub > something else in Ain't it the ugly truth! :=( Still, it's worth it. I guess LOL > - evaporated milk for cream, etc. You can get away with using whole evaporated milk???? Whooeeeee! (And yes, I'm teasing: I used to do that too when I used dairy in my cooking ;=) A very good dodge!) Thanks for clearing that up. I'm off like a fly on the fly to check on the, er, flylady now (sounds like something from an oldtime horror flick!). Best, Pat ;=)
