OT: BOOK CROSSING AND *VEGSLIMCAFE* - HUGE BOOBOO

Okay, skip that last stupid message by yours truly. I am so very tired this

afternoon that I don't know whether I'm coming or going, let alone what list I

am on.

 

The message should have read as follows (cuz the other name doesn't exist):

 

 

Hi - I've joined up to Book Crossing, as I said I would ;=) It occurs to me that

 

there are probably a lot of people here who are on Book Crossing . . . . Who

else? Maybe this is another topic for VegSlimCafe???

 

I'll post this there too, and anyone who wants can join in.

 

A suggestion: the last thing most of us want is yet another list! But if you

join

up for the vegetarianslimmingcafe (our satellite/off-topic group just started)

you

can put yourself on No Mail or Special Notices (the second is better for the

moderator so she doesn't have to keep switching you LOL) until there's

something you're interested in discussing that is truly Off Topic for this list

and

then you can move over and discuss it with the same people there. Otherwise,

do what I do (and have done in the past re such satellite groups): put yourself

on Digest - and just see what's being talked about each day without reading

the whole thing.

 

Just an idea.

Note: this isn't so much a new list as a sort of side room (for side issues LOL)

 

to the present space we occupy when we talk about vegetarian slimming.

That's why it's 'cafe' - pretty well anything you like goes in it or at least

with it.
