calcium and magnesium

Hi,

 

For what it's worth, I have been told not to take a magnesium supplement at

the same time as a calcium supplement. In fact. I was told that magnesium

should not be taken with any other minerals -- don't know why. The amount

ot magnesium required is 1/2 the amount of calcium. I take a magnesium

supplement when I get up in the morning, and calcium supplements at dinner

and at bedtime. You can only absorb 600 mg of calcium at any one time, by

the way.

 

Also, don't forget to get enough vitamin D, if you want the calcium to be

absorbed properly.

I take Calcium and Magnesium everynight before going

to bed. Whether a pill is going to help or not, I

can't say. But I sleep better.
