>Maybe I can start a vegetarian support group for women with PCOS.

That would be a great idea. I'm lucky - I neither have it nor have close friends

or family with it - but I can well imagine the terrible problems and heartache

involved :=(

It's a bit specialized for this group as it is set up, I suspect , although

putting

PCOS in the subject line would let others who weren't interested skip the

message. But how about this, until you set up a group, just in case you want to

discuss things that are wayyyyy off the topic for vegetarians and slimming and

and and - like how to get pregnant, etc. LOL, how about going to the following:

VegSlimCafe/

I have just set it up as an off-topic place where you can talk about these

things

- or anything else at all - to your heart's desire. Certainly there will be

people

who don't have, say PCOS, who might want to join in because of daughters,

etc., who have it. Others might just want to be informed. As for other topics,

it's

a good idea to *not* have to go offlist for them - just say 'I'll talk to you on

vegslimcafe' - just sign up.

Right now it's set up so anyone can join and is unmoderated.

Just trying to help . . . Good luck!

And best love,

Pat ;=)

PCOS has many symptoms similar to PMS. Also women with heart disease and

diabetes would also benefit from it since PCOS contributes to those

illnesses as well. Thank you so much for the link.

I have been totally animal free for 1 entire week and am just now beginning

to have some energy to get a few things done. I think I had to flush some

of that bad stuff out of my body. What do you think?

I was 1 pound heavier on the scale this morning. I would also like to chat

with others here who have 50 or more pounds to loose or who have lost a

considerable amount with this lifestyle.

Yes, that's what I'm beginning to understand from you!

No trouble. Just need someone to join in there to talk about these things with

you, that's all LOL

Congratulations! That's great - you must feel proud of yourself! And you've lost

weight too - double congratulations and a big hug.

Could be. People say that. It's a long time since I ate non-veggie food, so I

don't remember - and in any case I came to vegetarianism gradually with

many stumbles along the way ;=)

That often happens. It'll go again.

Okay, guys, let's hear it!!! It's show and tell time! ;=)

Best love, Pat ;=)
