Guest guest
>you may want to look over a website I put up....http:\\diets.20m.com Members are kindly and gently reminded that the proper place to 'advertise' your websites - and by this we mean of course non-commercial websites only - is in the folder marked for Members' Homepages in the Links section of the VegetarianSlimming Homepage - not on the list, please ;=) As it is, this (above) is a commercial webpage and is therefore doubly problematical for us. (The fact that there is a fault in the page so that it kept jumping around between telling me the Bible and God wanted me to eat certain foods [does that make this a 'religious message' too?] and then having windows opening up to try to get me to buy things on EBay - well that only added a little to the frustration LOL) I am in no way making a judgement on the Hallelujah Diet, just pointing out that pushing the diet and its products is not appropriate here. Okay? Thanks for your care about these things. Best, Pat
Guest guest
I apologize for the link to my website... I don't actually sell anything, and for sure I wouldn't think it was a commercial site. I don't have any popups that run for ebay... so I'm not sure where that comes from. Most all of the info on that site is basic info that I gleaned from the intro of a cook book for vegans. Again I apologize for the slip up.... Guest guest
> I apologize for the link to my website... 'S'Okay, Tom ;=) No damage done - and no problem with me. I don't actually sell anything, and for sure I wouldn't think it was a commercial site. Okay, so the links to the Halleluijah Diet Cookbook were just for info. Got it. I think the problem was the jumping around - I hope it was your website and not my computer or I'll have a breakdown and that would not be a pretty sight! :=( >I don't have any popups that run for ebay... so I'm not sure where that comes from. Gremlins? Magic? I suspect something a lot more down to earth - like some glitch in the works. It was doing fantastic things - and I tried it more than once to check it out. Oh I do hope it's not my @#@$%#@* computer (bless you little computer, steady girl!). Anyway, the popups were coming in fast and furious and the final time I tried - after doing some other things on the puter - my puter packed it in for the night, meanspirited little thing that she can be (there ther, girl, mama didn't mean it!). Maybe check it out? <time away> Look, I just did that, tried to get your website back, but couldn't get into it this time at ALL. So maybe it is me. I'm sorry. All very frustrating. It's been one of those days/weeks/months. >the info on that site is basic info that I gleaned from the intro of a > cook book for vegans. We can all benefit from cookbooks for vegans! We should probably have a folder in the Files for cookbook recommendations from members. I'll look to that soon! We can send ideas into the list and some kind soul might like to gather them together in the file - or something like that. > Again I apologize for the slip up.... No, Tom, no apologies necessary except from me; it's looking more and more as if it was my computer or server or something. I clicked in, found a blurb that I recognized more or less and a two or three links in the blurb - the one to somebody or other's diet worked (another didn't) - it was clearly related to the blurb - and when I brought my cursor there and clicked I was besieged by pop-ups (didn't think they were *yours*) and the other website which is of course selling the cookbook. If I went back to your page and tried to scroll down to read what else was on there, then I got more pop-ups or another (commercial) page entirely. Hey, maybe they're trying to tell me something! Take care. Best love, Pat ;=)
