ADMIN: More about PHOTOS - please read

Hi again -

 

Three matters for your attention, on the subject of 1. full-size versions of

photos; 2. naming albums (amendment to previous guidelines); and 3. 'loose;

photos.

 

1. Full-size Photos:

Been looking at those wonderful photos! ;=) We need more more more - and

to make room for those new ones (since is so stingy with album

'space'), Piers will be removing the 'full' size versions (those huge ones that

we don't really need on a site like this) from the albums in the next day or

two.

The thumbnails and the screen size photos will remain, of course!

 

2. Naming Albums:

Also, after thinking (I do that now and then), I propose you name your album

according to your email address - this is an amendment to the guidelines of

how to upload photos. Example, if your name is mary and your addy is

tigermoth, call your album tigermoth (not Mary or anything

else). Okay? We see that at the top of all your emails, so it's easy for us to

then

find your album. It also helps the moderators ;=)

 

And on that note I should add that, to save those of you who have already put

albums in the Photos section from having to do anything, I have just today

changed the names of the albums for you ;=)

 

3. 'Loose' Photos:

There were some photos that were not in albums, so these have now been

given an album with the username of the person who uploaded them ;=)

 

Okay? Have a look. Verrrrrry slick and tidy! Now, *more photos please!*

'Tis done! So now all 454 of you can load photos as much as you will (well,

there is still a limit but further away) - but please remember to " Delete

Full-size Version " after you've checked the photo in your album.

 

Another hint about photos: you can if you wish edit the name of your photo

and/or add a line of description. To do this go to your album and select

" List " (top right) and then by selecting the Edit symbol on the right of the

name of a photo on the list you can make the changes.
