Guest guest
Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your celebrations last night! I had a wonderful time with family and friends. I spent most of the night with my friends 2 yr old. She's was so cute - she actually has preferences within the disco music genre " No no no! " to the Jacksons but Love train? " More! " . Hopefully i burnt off a few calories chasing after her. Also i have a horrible cold which is giving me a great cough, you know the one where you bark like a dog! So i didn't really eat or drink much - kind of a good thing. One of my new years resolutions is to finally take this losing weight thing (avoiding the D word) seriously. I've been messing about for so long - going through fads of eating whatever and trying to eat minimally. I've decided to give it the time and effort it deserves. My BF is also trying to lose weight so we're going to do it together. We've done it before with some success but he has no willpower so it was difficult. The other thing is that i have IBS and its kind of been dormant (if that can be applied to anything other than volcanoes!) for a few years and has now decided to rear its ugly head. So i spent most of xmas with stomach ache, indigestion and a very small appetite. You could argue that last point is a good thing but i really feel i missed out this year. I haven't even touched the special vegan xmas cake i made. Oh well. Anyway, hopefully my new commitment will mean that i post more and am mentally more " with you guys " if you know what i mean. I've been pretty lazy of late. Wishing you all the best for 2005! Laura x ~* Laura *~ Reading-Fairy Set your books free! http://bookcrossing.com/friend/Reading-Fairy Still a Vegan Vixen!
