Guest guest
Fiona--I am in the middle of the book right now. I had a hard time sticking to McDougall, and getting my family to go along. I tried the Newstart plan, with similar resistance. I read the Maker's Diet, and appreciated their more liberal (some meat, etc.) approach, for my family's comfort, but I bought ETL at the same time, and I'm debating right now just how to incorporate what I've learned into my family's eating plan. Basically, I'm confused!!! LOL! But I am learning a lot from Dr. Fuhrman's book. Don't know if I've just confused you even more, but I do recommend reading the book. Guest guest
Has anyone here read Dr. Fuhrman's book or tried his diet? I've just ordered the book from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/- /0316829455/qid=1103024785/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/102-7359500-9240968? v=glance & s=books & n=507846 I'm always a bit sceptical about any diet that claims fast results, but Dr. Fuhrman's book seems to be all about eating healthy, unrefined foods with a strong emphasis on fruit and veg. He also encourages a vegetarian lifestyle. I'm really struggling with my weight right now and I can't seem to stick to any diet at all. I'm also having difficulty making the transition to a full veggie lifestyle. Since I love the foods that Dr. Fuhrman is promoting here, I'm really hoping that this type of diet will work for me. I'd love to hear if anyone else has tried this diet. Fiona
Guest guest
There are a whole group of people who are on that diet, some for a long time, who " meet " on the Eat-2-Live group at .
