OT: Cartoons Posted (copyright ok)

Cartoons have been posted to a folder marked 'Cartoons' in our Photos

section. They come from the Christmas Resistance Movement - an anti-

consumerism movement. The first relates directly to Christmas, the are more

general though relevant.

 

I kinda thought that those of you who are concerned with the environment,

consumerism, saving pennies, or who just like to laugh at themselves might

enjoy! (I found myself in more than one cartoon!)

 

I should add that posting these cartoons does not break copyright. The artist

has an anticopyright notice on this work and allows any use of it except

commercial use (no selling em) or attribution to another artist.

 

For me, I cut down from last year's 'minimal' greeting card list of three dozen

to

two dozen this year - sent, apart from to our accountant and lawyer (can't cut

back on them! LOL), almost completely to elderly people who carefully count

and hoard the cards they get each year as well as using them as status

symbols to all visitors. They were all cards with the dove of peace from

UNICEF.
