Guest guest
I promisesd myself I wasn't going to plague you with any more news bulletins from the NotMilk people - well, not for a few days, anyways ;=) - but I really couldn't resist this one! Have fun - if you can call it that. pat --------- Take the Notmilk Test You'll find 25 questions in today's exam. Four points are awarded for each correct answer. If you score 88 or better, you are either a vegan (eat no animal's flesh nor drink their body fluids) or you are a professional cheesehead. In any event, you understand milk issues like few people do... If you score between 52 and 68, you pass..barely, but only because we're grading on a curve. Go sit by yourself in a quiet little corner and repeat over and over again the following mantra: " Pus with hormones and glue...pus with hormones and glue... " If you score below the 50th percentile, instruct your attorney to re-write your last will and testament and leave your entire estate to your doctors. They'll ultimately end up with most of your money, anyway... Ready? Guest guest
> Hmmm...I got 100% correct. Snap! Me too LOL Isn't that truly boooooorrrring of us?! Never mind, maybe we can find a test we can fail abominably. Btw, I feel bad about all the people who truly enjoy dairy. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, truly. I just keep seeing these articles and feel I should pass em on. Apologies, if any are needed! I will say, though, that it was info like this that was the extra encouragement I needed to try to use less and less and less of the stuff. Best love - Pat ;=)
Guest guest
thanks to you Pat my cheese drawer in my refrigerator is completly empty. I have known cheese was probably as bad as meat, but I could not quit until you posted the article on cheese from not milk, thanks to you that did it. Guest guest
Um *sweatdrop* S'much as I'd LIKE to say I learned something from that Quiz, uh, I think its a little bit early in my vegetarian explorations to be getting rid of dairy, since thats what I've rather been eating since like, birth, *eep* and I just bought some cheese slices recently. *blushes* um, I guess the old saying goes, two steps forward, one step back. Deciding to become a vegetarian and actually doing it are two different things. Thanks for the quiz though, I'll keep it in mind should the time come for me to consider going off dairy. Thanks! ^__^ Lee
Guest guest
> Um *sweatdrop* S'much as I'd LIKE to say I learned something from that Quiz Oh that's the best kinda quiz!!! > uh, I think its a little bit early in my vegetarian explorations to be > getting rid of dairy. . . Deciding to > become a vegetarian and actually doing it are two different things. There's nothing 'wrong' with eating dairy as a vegetarian - there are all manner of vegetarians, including ovo-lacto (eggs *and* dairy), ovo alone, lacto alone, any of those including or non-including honey, and plant-based without honey. all that. As you know ;=) On this list, we have all of these - and raw foodists and fruitarians - and probably quite a few who are not-quite- vegetarians yet. It's vegans who don't use animal products ;=) However, some of us vegetarians who can't call ourselves vegans sometimes decide that, for the sake of our health, we should probably cut down or cut out dairy. That's all! LOL > Thanks for the quiz though, I'll keep it in mind should the time come for me > to consider going off dairy. Thanks! ^__^ And thank YOU, Lee ;=) Thanks for writing in about it! Best, Pat ;=)
