Guest guest
Hi again ;=) Ms Malarky, > This makes me curious about your accent...Do you sound like an Aussie w/a French accent . . . In Oz (and NZ) my dh and I were called Americans. 'Canadians' were 'Americans' - nothing to argue ;=) The accent was all. >or have you hung on to your UK accent? I think not, but others would argue. (and see above). In Canada I have an Ozzie or UK accent, depending on who is deciding; in the Uk (and I returned/ we lived there a while) I am 'American'. >How old were you when you moved to Oz? Let's see, went to NZ Jan '74, to Oz end Dec '74. At that time I would have just turned <taking off shoes and socks> 34. And for those of you who don't have enough fingers and toes, that makes me 64 on the 22nd of this month ;=) Scarey, huh??? Soooooo, there you go! Best, Pat ;=)
