Hi Brenda - back luck on the high cholesterol, but hey how great that you'd already made the decision to change ;=) Now, what you have to do, alas, is cut out on all those animal fats (ahem, cheese? butter? cream? egg yolks?) and also cut down on the refined sugars and refined foods in general. Not so bad, really - makes you feel better in your bod and certainly makes you feel virtuous LOL Now let's hear something that you'd like a good low-fat recipe for! ;=) And congratulations on making the change!!! Best, Pat ;=)
Guest guest
Does anyone know if there's any truth to claims that eating a daily bowl of oatmeal will help lower cholesterol? It's a good whole grain, so I know it's a healthful food, but the cholesterol claim seems almost too good to be true. Hilary
