(I included my multiplied amounts for kicks.) 2TB butter ----- 8TB(1 stick) 1/4c brown sugar ----- 1c 1TB water ----- 6TB(1/3c) 1 1/2c whole almonds ----- 6c kosher s & p to taste Melt butter in saucepan. Add sugar & water. Toss in almonds & cook 5 min. Place on oiled cookie sheet. Sprinkle w/s & p (I use LOTS of pepper). Bake @350 F for 10 mins. Cool. Enjoy autumn & the harvest food! Yes, thanks very very much - easy and delicious and very 'more-ish' like all such indulgences should be. When I upload your lovely recipe to the Files I will probably put 'Holiday " in front of the recipe name you gave - as a bit of a warning about the cholesterol content ;=) We love spicy nuts here in this household. A friend used to have a recipe for spicy garbanzo beans too - I'll have a look for the recipe cuz you might like it too!
