About 'commercial messages'

Everyone has received the list Rules ;=) You may all remember that among

the 'disallowed posts' is a reference to 'commercial messages'. By this is

meant those messages sent - usually by a new member but not always - to

promote a product or service in which the sender has a particular interest. He/

she either sells the product or service or gains some benefit from its sale.

 

Such messages are disallowed, not just for the obvious reasons, but also

because they violate the trust that we otherwise have in each other on this

list.

There will be no exceptions.
