Guest guest
Anyone know how to extend the life of bean sprouts beyond the day you buy them? I am thinking of the mung sprouts that you buy loose in the grocery store, not the boxed kind. Is this one of those foods that are so perishable that you have to buy them the day you intend to eat them? I have a recipe for spring rolls from the "Crazy Plates" cookbook that I have made a few times and really enjoy, but I have to make them the day I buy the sprouts, which is not always convenient.
