Anna,

 

I found breastfeeding and walking the best way to lose pregnancy weight, regardless of my diet. I have four children and while the amount of time I needed to lose the weight varied from 6 weeks to a year, walking was something I could do anywhere with all the children. Same for breastfeeding. Neither required child care or special equipment (other than breasts and a stroller or sling). I was a vegetarian for three of the pregnancies and honestly didn't find that to be of benefit when it came to weight loss, though obviously that would be subjective. My last tip would be to find someone to walk with and talk to about weight loss who is in a similar circumstance. There is nothing worse than feeling alone in your quest for good health.
