Guest guest
Hi Sarah - for vegetarian phrases in various languages, go to http://www.ivu.org/phrases/ Click into Eastern Europe (which includes Lavia) and scroll down. Under Latvian they have three (count em, folks, *three*!) phrases: * es esu vegetarietis - I am a vegetarian * Es needu galu - I don´t eat meat * Es needu zivis - I don´t eat fish Dunno how you say these, but you can always write them down on cards, English on one side for your benefit and the Latvian on the other - good tr= ick for other phrase-book words and phrases too, such as `where is the train to= . . ..' etc. and 'I find myself unable to find the pen of my aunt' ;=) Never been to Latvia. Lithuania, yes. We'll look forward to hearing about i= t!! Best, Pat ;=)
