Personally, I think that everyone should be able to keep an open mind on the different issues discussed in this group. Besides, this whole fuss about Atkins ultimately relates to health issues, doesn't it? Whether you advocate this diet or are against it (such as myself)...it would be nice if we could all discuss the health concens in a civilised way. Honestly, I think Atkins promotes an unhealthy lifestyle...and I'm not even a vegetarian lol! So, for Pat to post an article on Atkins (a diet that promotes meat while she's a vegetarian) for the sake of everyone's knowledge...that shows a lot of unselfishness and diplomacy on her part!!
