Finally, John in Wisconsin asked for:

Ahah! The problem of cook books and online sites that provide recipes to fe=

ed

six or eight persons - when you don't want to be eating leftovers all week =

:=(

Most recipes I post myself serve two or four individuals, since there is ju=

st my

dh and myself here - we save the extra two portions for another day or free=

ze

them, if appropriate, for another week.

I am always having to quarter, third, halve, whatever, recipes and agree th=

at it

isn't that easy because often the ingredients don't lend themselves to that=

*or*

the balance is all thrown off as is the cooking time. But I shall look for =

such

recipes from my personal cookbook and mark them accordingly as 'For Two

Persons' or 'Can be halved easily to make one serving' or whatever. The

problem is how much one person eats! For eg I never cook more than 50

grams of dried pasta for myself alone. You might normally eat 100 grams or=

even 150. (You might also prefer to have it in ounces and pounds, but that'=

s

okay *lol*)

However, let's get started and see what we can come up with for you. You'll=

find lots of good people here - and many cook only for themselves too - who=

are keen to help out.

Bye for now.

Best,

Pat ;=)
