This could get confusing *lol* But welcome to the list to John in Milwaukee

(the previous member was from near Aberdeen, Scotland). It's nice to have

you here too! ;=) I am Pat, one of two Moderators on this list, Paula being the

other. Laura is our list owner, but she is unable to participate right now,

sadly.

And I live in Canada with my dh and our furkids. My dh and I have been

vegetarians since the very early 'eighties, bar a little backsliding some years

back, and have had numerous excursions into a vegan diet ;=) We are

tending more and more that way as we grow older and wiser. But you don't

have to be vegetarian to join this list - many aren't, but they are interested

in

cutting certain foods out of their diet in order to improve their health. Or, of

course, they may be trying to eat more vegetables etc. out of concern for the

animals and the environment. Often both ;=)

I hope you will post often on this list - all new members should be encouraged

to do that - since although we are not a very busy list we also do not stand on

ceremony. Ask something, anything, or join in whatever recent topic you fancy

- you'll always have a friendly audience at Vegetarian Slimming ;=)

So I'll leave you for now with a suggestion that you have a look at our Files

and Links - oh, and the Polls - don't forget to cast a vote in the polls!

Let's chat more later, shall we? Welcome again!

Best,

Pat ;=)
