Guest guest
Hi Suzanne, I'm Pat and I'm co-moderator of this group - it's great to have you join us! Check out our files for some good recipes - and please let us know the kinds of things you are looking for, okay??? My dh and I have been veggie, more or less (okay, at first not strict), for a couple of decades or so. Although we tend to avoid eggs and dairy, especially at home, we usually call ourselves ovo-lacto vegetarians. (We're good at that, but would be hopelessly failed vegans, I'm afraid *lol*) But there are vegans on this list and many of the recipes I post are vegan (you can always use cow milk instead of soy and real cheese instead of soy cheese). I tend to like my food spicy - cooked up a huge pot of mean chilli today and am planning curried eggplant for lunch tomorrow ;=) I do so love my food, sigh! I'll look forward to chatting with you on the list. Don't forget to post often!!! Best, Pat ;=) , Suzanne <zandria72> wrote: > " The Questionnaire " > > > 1) What is your name or what would you like to be > > called? > > Suzanne > > > 2) How old are you (roughly)? > > Roughly? Hi! Thanks for the welcome. It looks as though this board has been kind of slow lately. I looked through the archives a bit though...interesting stuff. I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for. Comraderie? Validation? I'm curious how other people decided to become vegetarian. It came upon me kind of suddenly. >Although we tend to avoid eggs and dairy, > especially at home, we usually call ourselves ovo-lacto vegetarians. (We're > good at that, but would be hopelessly failed vegans, I'm afraid *lol*) LOL! I don't think I could ever be completely vegan, but it might be something to work towards...
