Guest guest
These recipes do look good. Vegetarian Times also has some artichoke recipes in this months edition. I did find the fat count a little high, though, since one artichoke would definitely not fill me. I imagine you could cut back on the oil somewhat. I try not to consume more than 10 grams of fat in a single meal. This s not carved in stone, especially today when we have a number of gatherings to attend! How do others gauge fat? Guest guest
Yes, they do look good! When they have been tried (I don't trust even 'yummy'-looking recipes - I've been fooled too many times), please someone let us know how they are, okay? If they are as good as they look they certainly should be posted on our Files page ;=) Me, I tend to avoid artichokes because of the oil or butter required to make them taste as they should - and I *adore* artichokes! :=( Well, Linda, I don't count fat grams consciously but perhaps I should. It's amazing how just one little tablespoon of oil adds up to 100 or is it 120 calorie :=( They say that so many dieters fail because they eat lots of salads to cut down on calories and then of course add salad dressing of one kind or another. I once faked up a nice one from yoghurt and varied herbs, though. Okay if you like creamy dressings - which sadly I don't really. Best, Pat ;=) lindiny wrote: > > These recipes do look good.
