Guest guest
I started back on a full vegetarian diet and my blood sugar readings are out of whack -- I guess from the higher emphasis on grains. I even gained a couple of pounds this week. I'm already taking meds twice daily to help control them. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks, Shara
Guest guest
hi i am diabetic too, and grains and pulses are great, if not the best foodsstuffs, for controlling sugar levels because they are the best source of long lasting sugar.........they dont create spikes or cravings.........is there something that you are eating with them like white rice bread or very big portions that is creating sugar overload? catherine >"schilcoat" > > > blood sugar readings >Sun, 25 Jan 2004 21:19:22 -0500 > >I started back on a full vegetarian diet and my blood sugar readings are out of whack -- I guess from the higher emphasis on grains.
