I am 40 years old and have one son who is 13. I am just starting with becoming a vegetarian--my father was one for years back in the good ole days and I have been trying to start for a long time. I have alot of weight to lose and I tried the Adkins diet but besides missing all the veggies, fruits, and FIBER (ha) I feel so guilty eating all this meat. I love all animals and have 2 cats--Myles and Wendy. I joined several vegetarian and hope to make some new friends and hopefully even find some people from my area and also maybe even meet a nice guy who has the same love for animals as I do.
