Guest guest
Oh, gross. I am glad there is no Canadian map, ignorance is bliss. My family consumes great quantities of milk, but I have it only in my coffee. At least I used to. Until I read that website. Look out soy milk, here we come. Guest guest
It took me a while to get use to soy milk as well, but it's now a staple in my frig. I use Silk Milk Plain for my morning cup(s) of coffee and cooking. We try to avoid dairy as much as possible b.c he's lactose intolerant. I've been DYING to try that Follow Your Heart vegan cheese, but alas the grocery stores around here don't carry it. I've been meaning to call Golden Temple (the only vegetarian grocery/restaurant within driving distance) to see if they carry it. If not, they'll order it..they're great like that. A few of you were discussing the pus in milk thing. If you are in the U.S., the % of pus to milk varies by the state in which you reside. I couldn't find a non-U.S. map to provides the % per liter of milk, but here's an American one. You just click on your state to see its stats: http://www.milksucks.com/pus.html One of the stone-challenged members, karen
